Good morning friends of the Little Theatre,
July is almost over- that means that our spectacular summer fundraiser, Play On!, is coming to an end. There are only five more chances to see the show that audiences are calling “Amazing,” “Fabulous,” and “Soul-stirring!” There are a handful of tickets remaining for the final weekend of performances, but, they’ll sell out soon! Click HERE to check out the great review of Play On! in the Tribune. Order your tickets instantly online by clicking HERE.
Our Academy of Creative Theatre summer production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella opens in less than three weeks. This incredible cast of young performers have been rehearsing this beloved musical for the last several months- we can’t wait to share this story with our community! For the first time ever, our summer ACT production is running for three weeks, so, there are 12 chances to see this classic fairy tale come to life on our stage. This is a perfect play for the entire family, and an easy way to introduce live theatre into your children’s lives. Get your tickets instantly online by clicking HERE.
Good People, the first season production of the Little Theatre’s 68th anniversary season, begins rehearsals in early August. We are thrilled to have guest director David Carey Foster bringing this award-winning script to the Little Theatre. You can read more about the play by clicking HERE. You can pick up one of the few remaining season subscriptions by clicking HERE. Get your season tickets today and never hear the words “SOLD OUT” again!
Do you know that this season the Little Theatre is producing 25 plays? That means that we have new auditions, open to all actors in our community, every two weeks. Coming up next: auditions for the Ubu’s Other Shoe staged reading of Take Me Out, directed by Daniel Freeman. You can see the complete character breakdown and audition requirements by clicking HERE. Later in August we’ll have auditions for Picasso at the Lapin Agile, directed by Suzy Newman, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, directed by Dana Shaheen and Lacy McNamara (musical direction.) All auditions will be posted on our AUDITION PAGE and FACEBOOK PAGE. Mark your calendars now!
Thanks, everyone, for your support of the Little Theatre. Have a wonderful week!
