Less than two weeks ago, all we were discussing was how to reopen the theatre in the face of COVID-19.

Times have changed.

No. That’s not true. The truth is that times have NOT changed and it is long past time that they did.

For those protesting, for people of color, members of our community, we stand with you. We share your passion for justice and for change, and are committed to actively fight — both onstage and off — against all forms of racism, inequality and hate.

We acknowledge that there is more that our organization can do to help eradicate racism and oppression in our own community.

We will strive to do better.

We know actions are more important than words and we commit ourselves to sharing specific steps that our organization will be taking soon.
