Adult Play Reading and Discussion Group

Saturdays, 4:30-6:30pm
Cost: $175
This group will provide participants with a new play each week, which you’ll read on your own time. Then we’ll come together to explore and do a deep dive into the play, all facilitated by a professional teaching artist. Along the way, you’ll learn the context and background of the play, read sections aloud with the group, and have some great conversations! Cost of the class also includes tickets to two SLO REP productions, (The Cake and I Hate Hamlet) and one Ubu’s Other Shoe staged reading (Seminar), which we’ll see as a group prior to Saturday class. Whether you’re a drama buff or have never set foot in a theater, Play Reading & Discussion Group is sure to broaden your theatrical horizons. We hope you’ll join us!
