Over seven decades, 27 different locations, more than 1,400 productions, SLO REP is one of the nation’s longest running nonprofit theatres. It’s time to build a new home for San Luis Obispo’s theatre. It’s time for A NEW STAGE.
Our two new theatres — a 215-seat Mainstage Theatre and 100-seat Black Box — will cement downtown’s historic role as the beating heart of San Luis Obispo’s rich culture and economy.
As a matter of sheer scale, this is the largest arts project since the Performing Arts Center on the Cal Poly campus was built more than 30 years ago. And we are nearly there! With your help, we will reach our campaign goal and break ground in early 2026.
