We offer high quality, year-round theatre education for the students of CA’s Central Coast. Most of our classes take place after school twice per week in six-week sessions located at our Education and Admin Headquarters at 3533 Empleo Street.
With classes for ages 3-18, ranging from beginners to advanced training, there’s a class designed to engage students at every experience level. Whether your child is looking for a fun way to express themselves or looking to take their theatrical training to the next level, ACT has classes for everyone!

Winter Performance Class: CLUE!
January 27-March 21, ages 13-18
Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00-6:00pm

About the Class:
Over the course of eight weeks, students will experience the entire exciting process of putting up a production of the hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery, Clue, inspired by the classic board game. Students will participate in in-class “auditions,” staging rehearsals, tech rehearsal, and performance! All registered students will receive a role in the 30-minute end-of-class show on SLO REP’s downtown stage. This fast-paced class is for students with performing experience who are ready to work hard and have fun! Important Class Dates:
-Class runs Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-6:00 from January 27-March 21.
-The week of March 17-21 (tech week) we’ll have class every day from 4:00-6:00pm at our downtown location.
-Please note that this is a very collaborative class. Consistent attendance and focus is necessary for the overall success of the show.
-There will be two free performances (5:30 and 6:30pm) on Friday, March 21st.
About the Story:
Based on the iconic 1985 Paramount movie which was inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is a hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery. The tale begins at a remote mansion, where six mysterious guests assemble for an unusual dinner party where murder and blackmail are on the menu. When their host turns up dead, they all become suspects. Led by Wadsworth – the butler, Miss Scarlet, Professor Plum, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock and Colonel Mustard race to find the killer as the body count stacks up. Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult-fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!
