We offer high quality, year-round theatre education for the students of CA’s Central Coast. Most of our classes take place after school twice per week in six-week sessions located at our Education and Admin Headquarters at 3533 Empleo Street. With classes for ages 3-18, ranging from beginners to advanced training, there’s a class designed to engage students at every experience level. Whether your child is looking for a fun way to express themselves or looking to take their theatrical training to the next level, ACT has classes for everyone!

Winter Performance Class: Alice in Wonderland!
January 26-March 21
Mondays & Wednesdays, 4:00-6:00pm
$575. Scholarships are available!
About the Class:
Over the course of eight weeks, students will experience the entire exciting process of putting up a production of the classic adventure story, Alice in Wonderland. Students will participate in in-class “auditions,” staging rehearsals, tech rehearsal, and performance! All registered students will receive a role in the 30-minute end-of-class show on SLO REP’s downtown stage.
Please note that this is a very collaborative class. Consistent attendance and focus is necessary for the overall success of the show.
Important Class Dates:
-Class runs Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-6:00 from January 26-March 4 at our Empleo location.
-On March 9 and 11th, class will take place from 3:45-5:45 at our downtown theatre location.
-The week of March 16-20th (tech week) we’ll have class every day from 3:45-5:45 at our downtown theatre location.
-There will be two free performances (11:00am & 12:00pm) on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
How to Register:
This is an advanced class for students who have musical theatre performing experience. Please note that this is a very collaborative class. Consistent attendance and focus is necessary for the overall success of the show. About the Story:
Follow Alice to Wonderland where she encounters curious creatures like the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Queen of Hearts. Alice’s adventures teach her to question and wonder. In doing so, she finds her voice and the confidence she needs to grow.
