With cake so good you could take a nap in it, a surprise lesbian wedding, and a reality show announcer whose narrative style can get a little too personal, this sweet comedy just might make you laugh until you cry. Frosting will fly as Della tries to figure out how her faith and her love for family can co-exist. For the first time in her life, Della has to think for herself. Faith, family, and frosting collide in this timely new play from the writer of NBC’s This is Us.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to mature language, partial nudity, adult situations, and sexually-charged moments, this play is recommended for audiences 18 and older. Running time is 90 minutes with no intermission.
