Well, I hate to lead off with bad news, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. I’m afraid that our summer musical has prematurely reached the end of its run. We have been forced to cancel all performances this weekend due to a serious car accident involving one of the four actresses in the production. Unfortunately, she has not recovered enough to continue the production, and, due to the nature of the show, it is not possible to replace her before this weekend.
ALL PERFORMANCES AUGUST 1-4 ARE CANCELLED.
In a note to patrons, Managing Artistic Director Kevin Harris said:
“We at the Little Theatre understand how serious a cancellation is; this is our first in many years (a record we are proud of as a volunteer-based community theatre.) We are in the process of contacting each patron individually to make arrangements to rectify the situation. The Board, staff, and I are committed to doing everything in our power to meet your needs. Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience.”
OPENING TONIGHT!
Our Ubu’s Other Shoe 10th Anniversary Season kicks off TONIGHT with a staged reading of Horton Foote’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama THE YOUNG MAN FROM ATLANTA followed by an informative “talk-back” with the cast. It’s an awesome play and we really hope you’ll join us. Click HERE for more information about the show and you can get your tickets HERE.
